Chocolate Muffins Recipe

Ingredients:
- 300 g flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 75 g of cut pieces of cold butter
- 150 ml of cold milk
- dark chocolate (60%) - the amount depends on how much you love chocolate
- 1 egg (beat for lubrication)
Preparation:
Heat the oven to 210°C, Cover the baking tray with baking paper.Mix flour with baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar in a large bowl. Hands rub the butter into the flour mixture.
Pour in the milk and knead the dough. Knead it on a board sprinkled with flour and roll out into a rectangle 3 mm thick.
Cut the rectangle into 12 equal parts and each lay out pieces of chocolate (the more the better :)).
Wrap the chocolate dough and gently press around the edges to secure. Put the rolls on a baking sheet and brush with beaten egg each. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Remove the muffins from the oven and serve with coffee and milk.
