Beef Bourguignon Recipe

Ingredients:
For 4 servings:- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 800 grams of beef, cut into cubes
- 6 strips of bacon, sliced crosswise
- 25 g of butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 750 grams of red wine (preferably Burgundy)
- 600 ml broth
- 1 large carrot, chopped
- 12 pcs shallots, peeled. can be replaced by ordinary small onion
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme (or 1 1/2 dried)
- 175 g mushrooms
- 2 tbsp parsley
How to cook:
Fry the meat and bacon. In a frying pan melt half the butter and add the flour. The resulting mixture to cover the meat and simmer for a few minutes. Add all remaining ingredients except butter and parsley and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered a half hour.Meat and vegetables on the plate shift, the remaining sauce to boil a few minutes. Gradually add the remaining oil and season. Pour the sauce the meat.
Beef Bourguignon - is both satisfying and delicious dish.
