Ingredients: 

  • chicken gizzards - 700 g 
  • onion - 2 pcs. 
  • carrots - 1 pc. 
  • sour cream - 1 tbsp. 
  • tomato sauce or paste - 1 tbsp. L. 
  • bay leaf - 1 pc. 
  • allspice - 2 pea 
  • salt, ground black pepper - to taste 
  • chicken broth or water - 2 tbsp. 
  • vegetable oil - 1 tbsp. L.

Preparation: 

1 peeled and washed stomachs fill with cold water in a saucepan and lightly salted - 1/3 tbsp Boil them for one hour on low heat.
2 Peel the onions and cut into half rings.
3 carrots grate.
4 In a heated pan, pour vegetable oil and fry the onions and carrots until the onion is translucent (5-7 min.)
5 Boiled chicken gizzards, wash with cold water and cut into pieces. About 3 each.
6 Add the stomachs of the pan to the onions and carrots and pour chicken broth (water can) - 400 ml. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes on low heat.
7 Then add sour cream and a spoonful of tomato paste or sauce and continue cooking. Chicken gizzards will be ready in 15 minutes, but you can extend this step up to 30-40 minutes to make them softer.
